TFALAC, the state political action committee, has made financial contributions to various candidates. Those donations were disbursed in June 2022 and reported in the Second Quarter PAC reports with the state. In most instances, the contributions were only made to candidates that had responded to TFA’s candidate survey and who have contested races in the August 2022 party primaries.
Most incumbents did not respond to the survey and, in the example of Lt. Gov. Randy McNally, refused to respond to the survey or to the Red Flag or ATF pledges. This is unfortunate since the survey (the questions and responses to individual questions are on the TFA’s news posts ) is specifically designed to communicate from candidates to voters which issues a candidate supports or opposes. We can only conclude that most incumbent candidates want your vote but don’t want to tell you how they plan to address important Second Amendment issues.
The distributions from TFALAC through June 2022 are as follows:
House Candidates
John Mark Windle
Gino Bulso
Laurie Cardozo-Moore
Scott Cepiky
Bryan Richey
Lee Mills
Kip Capley
Elaine Davis
Terry Lynn Weaver
Paul Sherrell
Rick Eldridge
Todd Warner
Senate
Gary Humble
If a candidate responded to the survey but does not have an August contested primary, TFALAC will consider at a later date whether to make a contribution for the November general elections.
