The Tennessee Firearms Foundation, Inc. exists to help inform people regarding the truth concerning the state of Tennessee’s “unconstitutional” gun laws and to bring public interest lawsuits in local, state and federal cases to challenge those laws. You can help that mission succeed!
Frankly, Tennessee Firearms Association’s Board realized that it was forced to expand substantially the efforts to restore the Second Amendment in Tennessee because Tennessee simply does not have enough federal or state legislators who take their oaths or the Second Amendment as seriously as the United States Supreme Court has in the last 3 years. Indeed, even though Tennessee has had a Republican super majority in the Legislature for 16 years, the Legislature has completely failed to remove unconstitutional laws and infringements from Tennessee. We realized that if those who are sworn to protect our rights, like the Governor and our Legislators, refuse to do so that perhaps the courts can and will.
In conjunction with John Rich, who was significant to our efforts to defeat Bill Lee’s “Red Flag” special session in 2023, the Tennessee Firearms Foundation has scheduled a charity fundraiser for Thursday, April 24, 2025 to be held as a private event at John Rich’s home. The event is limited to 150 guests.
You can help by purchasing a ticket to the event, being a sponsor of the event and even making a tax deductible contribution to the Foundation whether you can attend or not!
Sponsorships are available and the most common levels so far are $5,000, $10,000, $20,000 and $50,000 but larger sponsorships are welcome! If you are interested in being a corporate or individual sponsor for this event, please contact John Harris ( johnharris@tennesseefirearms.com ) and let’s discuss your interest.
Tickets are now on sale and are $1,000 per person. You can contact either John Harris ( johnharris@tennesseefirearms.com ) or Christy Frizzell ( cfrizzell@tennesseefirearms.com ) regarding tickets.
Auction Items
We are working with proven Second Amendment supporters, most of whom are based in or have major facilities in Tennessee, to assemble a unique auction package. These items are already part of that package.
Smith and Wesson
Smith and Wesson is now based in Tennessee. It has supported TFA, TFALAC and the TFF in several ways. It has donated an exclusive commemorative set that has brought as much as $30,000 at other auctions. This special set Number 18 of a 100-unit run of commemorative Model 1854 rifle packaged with a matching Model 29 revolver. The pairing is a natural fit, as the original chamberings for lever actions were in pistol calibers to match the handgun carried on the range. A beautiful display case contains the Model 1854 Limited rifle, in and of itself a collectible as only 1,854 units of this will be produced. The gloss black finish highlights the high-grade walnut furniture’s satin finish. The famed Model 29 revolver is the legendary 6.5” barreled version in blue carbon steel with walnut grips. The revolver which was made famous in Hollywood is chambered in .44 Magnum. Both the Model 1854 rifle and Model 29 handgun have been engraved and embellished by famed customization house Baron Engraving. The design is inlaid with 22-karat gold and the Model 1854 and Model 29 share complimentary designs. Included with the firearms and display case is a letter from S&W CEO Mark Smith attesting to the set’s origin and limited status.
