(See complaint below). This is one of several such lawsuits across the nation. However, this one is noteworthy because the State of Texas, represented by its Attorney General, is the lead plaintiff.

After this was released, it was determined that the State of Tennessee under Attorney General Jonathan Skrmetti has joined a lawsuit filed in North Dakota under the lead of West Virginia Attorney General Patrick Morrisey. State attorneys general from Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Missouri, Mississippi, Montana, Nebraska, New Hampshire, North Dakota, Oklahoma, South Carolina, South Dakota, Utah, Virginia, and Wyoming.
